| What is the assignment? | First, look at the subjects on your List of Potential Subjects (Assignment 1A). They are still too broad for an argumentative research paper. Select one subject and generate a list of at least ten potential topics all related to your selected subject. |

| How do I submit the assignment? | Submit your list to Kenn via WebCT e-mail. At the top of your list, also write your selected Research Paper Subject. On your e-mail subject line, write List of Potential Topics. |

Try any of the following writing, research, or reading activities, each of
which has been designed to help you to generate your list of potential
topics. You are required to review them all and try at least one that
looks promising.
