  2. Paper correctly uses MLA paper format (5 mileage points):

  3. Paper contains that announces the thesis statement and main points in a MORE COMPELLING MANNER than in the first version (5 mileage points):

  4. Paper contains a background section following the introduction and/or other background information where needed (5 points):

  5. Thesis is developed by at least three main points that mark three distinct sections of the paper MORE CLEARLY than in the first version (5 mileage points):

  6. Each main point is developed by at least two subpoints that mark distinct paragraphs MORE CLEARLY than in the first version (5 mileage points):

  7. Each subpoint is convincingly developed by MORE evidence and/or logical explanations than in the first version as follows:
