| What is the assignment? | Generate a list of at least ten potential subjects for your argumentative research paper. |

| How do I submit the assignment? | Submit your list to Kenn via WebCT e-mail. On your e-mail subject line, write List of Potential Subjects. |
| How do I generate a list of potential subjects? | At this point, nearly any subject is worth
considering for your research paper. So now is the opportunity to
generate a list of subjects you like. What subjects do you find
interesting, compelling, challenging, or puzzling? What subjects do you
want to explore further? The goal is to generate as many ideas for
subjects as possible. The more subject ideas, the more likely one will
strike your interest and prove a viable subject for your paper.
Try any of the following writing, research, or reading activities, each of which has been designed to help you to generate your list of potential subjects. You are required to review them all and try at least one that looks promising.
