What is the assignment?	Your assignment is to revise the first version of your summary report (Side Trip Assignment 1A) and submit it as a final version, based on feedback from your writing partner. Take into consideration all the feedback you have received. However, keep in mind that you do not need to follow every suggestion. As a writer, it is your opportunity to weigh all the feedback and accept or reject it as you see fit. Make substantive changes that, in your view, will better clarify information for your readers. Also be sure to carefully edit this final version of your summary report, paying more attention to grammar, punctuation, spelling, diction, etc. than you did in the first version.
How do I submit the assignment?	Submit Side Trip Assignment 1B to Kenn via TopClass e-mail, as an attachment (see "Submitting/Reading an Attachment" for instructions on how to submit assignments via TopClass e-mail). Use MLA paper format for your submission (standard margins, header, etc.) and give your report a title that reflects your purpose in writing (for example, Summary of Viewpoints Related to Amatuer Mountain Climbers Being Banned from Mt. Everest--Final Version). Submission to your writing partner is optional.
