The requirements for English 101 comprise a total of 500 "mileage points," broken down as follows (explore each link for full details):
 
Grading
Grades for English 101 will conform to the grading scale established by Rio Hondo College:
  • A - Excellent (450-500 mileage points)
  • B - Good (400-449 mileage points)
  • C - Satisfactory (350-399 mileage points)
  • D - Passing, less than satisfactory (300-349 mileage points)
  • F - Failing (less than 300 mileage points)
